This project was in collaboration with Jump!, a California based non-profit working with seniors to help them fulfill bucket-list items. I connected with the Founder of Jump!, Webb Weiman, and helped him produce a short documentary on an inspiring 96 year-old woman who made blankets for those in need. Lois Goodman donates her time hand-making simple blankets with extravagant patterns to hospitals, shelters and churches who help the poor.
I worked solo on this project, a one-man wrecking crew through our two day shoot schedule. We staged an interview at Lois’ residence for her and her family, followed her around as she bought supplies and made these special blankets, followed her into the community to give away blankets and interviewed those who are affected by her wonderful servant’s heart.
With some insight from Webb, I stitched together the edit, mixed the audio and music, added basic graphics and rendered the final master file.
